About Camper Connect

Camper Connect keeps an eye on your camper when you can't. A small Walter board (https://www.quickspot.io/) - an ESP32-S3 with an LTE-M/NB-IoT modem and GNSS - lives in the van and reports home over the cellular network. No Wi-Fi needed, wherever the road takes you.

Every check-in delivers the camper's GPS position, cabin temperature and humidity, battery voltage, board temperature and cellular signal quality, sent as a compact binary packet over CoAP secured with DTLS. The dashboard shows the latest state of every registered device, with the full telemetry history and a map.

It works in both directions: outputs in the camper can be switched remotely by queueing commands that the device picks up on its next check-in, and Pushover notifications land on your phone the moment new telemetry arrives.
